Sounding Through Empty Words IV (2012)
Recording of the LISTEN Exhibition 8-point source sound installation version of the piece composed by Gustavo Matamoros, this time using resonant frequencies of the 924 Projects Space, caused to be energized by the voice of John Cage from Subtropics’ archival recording of his Miami performance of Empty Words during Subtropics 3, 1991.

Los Angeles Times: Events Honoring John Cage at 100

The Centennial program also included an installation arrangement of John Cage’s Water Walk on display in the first floor vitrine along the entrance hallway to ArtCenter’s 924 Building.
