For double bass and fixed media
The closing work on the album is Gustavo Matamoros’s sound portrait of Luis Gómez-Imbert. Its fixed-media soundscape was constructed from a recorded double-bass improvisation by Gómez-Imbert, who then performed live in interaction with the resulting composition.
For the CD, the work was recorded by Steve Malagodi at WLRN Studios in Miami and mixed at Le Garage Studio in Caracas.
